Sheema is an experienced Senior Paralegal with 20 years experience in personal injury litigation and expanding expertise across a variety of legal practice areas. Her interest in law was shaped by her own experience as the victim of a serious hit-and-run shortly after high school, which left her with significant injuries and gave her firsthand insight into the physical, emotional, and legal challenges faced by injured individuals.
After completing the Legal Administrative Assistant program at CDI College in 2003, Sheema began her legal career in personal injury law and joined Jeffery & Calder in 2009. While working full-time, she completed her paralegal studies in 2011. She worked closely with Gregory Calder from 2009 to 2017 and has worked alongside trial lawyer Kimberly Sadler from 2017 to the present. Sheema manages all facets of the litigation process from case inception to resolution. She is skilled in drafting pleadings and applications, document management, legal research, trial preparation, and coordinating with clients, medical and rehabilitation professionals, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters. She also assists with retaining experts, mediation, trial preparation, and overall litigation strategy.
Known for her professionalism, strong work ethic, critical thinking, and compassionate approach, Sheema is a trusted member of the litigation team, dedicated to guiding clients through challenging legal matters with care, efficiency, and practical insight. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, staying active, and pursuing personal and professional growth, with a particular interest in health and wellness.
